Penn State vs. Michigan State at East Lansing : We traveled to East Lansing to see the PSU vs. Michigan State game. The travelers were Josh and Jennifer Yoder, Michele's brother David Wood and his girl Rebecca McCamley, Nichole Wood and her roommate Linde, Michele and I. We had a really, really, great time. It was gloomy, rainy, and cold. Still, we decided that this was the most fun we've had yet in our PSU travels. We lost a heartbreaker, but it was a really fun back and forth battle. MSU is the highest scoring team in the Big Ten. PSU was probably the more talented team, and that makes it a painful loss.

PSU vs. Indiana at Bloomington : Penn State defeated Indiana today in a very close game. The weather was beautiful! We had a great time in Bloomington, Indiana. I took my 18-135mm Nikkor lens, because it's a pretty nice walk around lens to get pictures of buildings and family photos. Unfortunately, it's not very good for photos of far away game action. I did get some pretty nice warm-up photos from Pre-Game, because we could get near the field, though.

PSU vs. Wisconsin at State College : PSU beat Wisconsin and looked great today. I was really lucky to get a few tickets from my dear friends the Larsons. As always, we had a blast. I went with my brother, my wife Michele, our childhood friend Paul Schwederske, Grady Luzier, and Caleb Cuneo. Due to the WB vs. MV game being rescheduled, Kari Larson stayed home, so I tried to get a few Jordan Norwood pictures for her. Kari loves #24 Jordan Norwood! My game photos are not very nice, since I didn't take my 70-300mm lens. But, the tradeoff was that I got a few nice panoramas with the 18-135mm lens. They aren't perfect, but they're pretty good for a beginner. The first 5 photos in this gallery are each made of 3-4 photos stitched together to make a panorama view. Also, I got a few decent photos of PSU players during pre-game warmups, since I was able to get closer to the field. Still, if you want great player closeups, don't take an 18-135mm lens. Michele and I are excited because we are going to the PSU vs. Indiana game at Ind. this weekend. We are also traveling to Michigan State. We've never been to either campus before, so it should be fun...and a lot of driving, but that's part of the fun, too. Thanks for the great tickets Alan and Judy, and thanks for hanging out with me at another PSU game Grady! Notre Dame and Wisconsin were so much fun. We're 2-0, so I might have to buy tickets to Ohio State. You and I are good luck, Grady!

Penn State vs. Notre Dame at State College : The Larson's had a couple extra PSU tickets for the Notre Dame game, and they were kind enough to ask me to go with them. It was a really great day. On the list of things I love, PSU and the Larsons are both right up there! I didn't take my camera, because I wanted to soak in the experience. The "White House" was a sight to behold. Luckily, my brother took his camera and got some nice photos. Here are just a few of my brother's photos!
