Shedd Aquarium, Chicago : If you go to Chicago, you must go the the Shedd Aquarium. The aquarium is unbelievable. Unfortunately, it's not the best place for an amateur photographer like me, because of the low light, fast moving fish, and water/glass distortion. I couldn't get pictures of some of the best exhibits such as shark tanks, dolphin shows, Beluga Whales, and much more. However, a few of my photos turned out pretty well, and it will give you an idea of the experience.

Chicago Panoramas : This is my favorite and longest panorama yet. It's made of 5 pictures of the Chicago Skyline that I took from the East Chicago Marina in June. If you click the photo, it will open as an M (Medium) file. Forget the L (Large) and click the O to enlarge it. It will be huge! With 10.2 megapixels, you will be able to see people's patio furniture on their balconies and read the buildings' signs. There are sprinklers watering the grass and streets filled with Chicago traffic. The tallest building in the Western Hemisphere (Sears Tower) is there and cranes are working on other buildings. If you're bored, check it all out. I like this panorama because there's so much going on, if you blow it up as big as SmugMug will let you. It might take a minute or two to load, and you'll need to scroll around because it's very big!

Arts Fest, State College, PA : I had a great time at Arts Fest on Thursday. I didn't get to take too many photos since I was busy looking at the amazing art work and eating. (I recommend the grilled chicken with rice and stir fried vegetables.) If you've never been to arts fest, I recommend it wholeheartedly. I can't remember the last year that I haven't gone, and we always have a great time. Try to pick a day that the heat is not too bad, since you walk all over State College. (It's a week long festival.)
