Warrior Volleyball Defeat Bellwood Antis : My computer is fighting me, but I'm starting to get the photos added. I apologize to my old students and athletes, I'll try to do my best for you. This volleyball team is very special to me. I coached with Terry Trude for about 5 years and I can't express how highly I think of him and his family. I learned a lot about being a coach from Terry. I have also taught and/or coached Mariah, Rebecca, Melissa, Victoria, Jada, Sloan, Taylor, Elizabeth, Alexis, and Janessa. They were the most wonderful students and athletes a person could ever ask for. They always smiled and laughed, were kind to each other, and gave their best in class and in sports. I hope I can get nice photos for you to repay all you've done for me in the past. I have the most wonderful and hilarious memories of you girls when you were just learning to be athletes, and I need to thank you for helping me love my job as a teacher/coach. Just make the photos original size and then right click and save to your desktop...they're free.

Playoff Volleyball : WB vs. Ferndale : The Warriors defeated Ferndale in the first round of the playoffs tonight at WBHS. What a great playoff atmosphere the student section created. I think the student section was a factor in the game's momentum several times.

West Branch Volleyball vs. Brockway : Monday, October 1, 2007 - The Warriors defeated Brockway to improve to 19-1. I was really glad to finally get to see a game. These girls are truly amazing athletes. You can tell how hard they've worked, to play so well as a team. Not to mention the fact that Coach Trude has a dominating volleyball team...every...single...year. He is a coaching icon at West Branch. I hope he starts to receive more recognition for the amazing job he does every year for our athletes. This was the first time I ever tried to photograph a volleyball game, and it's difficult! In other sports, there is someone with possesion of the ball (football, basketball, soccer) that you can follow. Volleyball is a real challenge!
