Warrior CC at the Eagle Invitational : September 22, 2007 - I spent the day with the West Branch Warrior Cross Country Team. I had a really great time getting to talk with a few of my old students, (Katie and Ryan) a few old basketball players, (the Murrays) and I got to meet some new people, too. My brother is an assistant coach, and he always tells me about what a tremendous group of people he's coaching this year. One of the many stories he's told me, is that the athletes were given Friday off, to rest for the Eagle Invitational today. However, 4-5 athletes held their own practice and ran anyway. That type of dedication is probably why they are defending a JVL Championship!
